GIVE ME GRACE, O LORD, NEVER TO BACKSLIDE
March 27, 2019
DAY: FIFTEEN.
March 27, 2019

DATE: MARCH 21, 2019.

THEME: MAKE ME POSSESS GREATER NATIONS, O LORD; MY DESTINY MUST NOT BE LOCALISED.

TEXT: DEUTERONOMY 11:23.

INTRODUCTION: It is the desire of the Lord to always make His people great in all ramifications and make them possess their possessions . This is evident in the ways God has dealt with the Israelites, even from the  time of Abraham.  (Gen. 12:1-3). In fact, the text makes it clear that the plan of God for His people cannot be limited; not even by their geographical location. The reason is that Jehovah is not a local God like Ogun, Oyo, etc. So, when He decides to bless and expand His people, it is always great, beyond their location or locality; and He is unstoppable.

Possessing  our possession means achieving God-given goals for us in year 2109. It means becoming greater and prosperous; to some it may mean getting your good health back, while to others it may mean overcoming spiritual battles. It could mean, to some, restoration of  peace in the home. Whatever this may mean to you in particular,  rest assured that God’s thought for you is good. He makes you overcome challenges that seem to be greater than you, and makes you enter a new level of testimonies.

It is important to know, however, that the blessings of the Lord come when men abide in His will.  In other words, we need to walk with God in:

  1. Faith – Deut. 31:6; Prov. 3:5-6; 2 Cor. 4:16-17; Isa. 40:28-31.
  2. Obedience – Exo. 19:5; John 15:9; 2 John 1:6; Rom. 2:6-8.
  3. Prayer – 1 John 5:14; 2 Chro. 7:14; Jer. 29:12; James 5:13; Mark 11:24.

To walk with God in faith is to put absolute trust in His promises. “Faithful is he who has called for he will do it” (1 Thess. 5;24). Without faith, man will always see impossibility; but with faith, nothing shall be impossible (Matt. 19:26).

Walking in obedience points our attention to the fact that following instructions of the Lord is a vital key to entering our ‘promised land’.

PRAYER POINTS

  1. In the name of Jesus, the Lord is driving out every barrier to my possessions.
  2. I neutralise every power greater than me that is sitting on my blessings in the name of Jesus.
  3. I receive divine expansion that is beyond my understanding.
  4. In the name of Jesus, the Lord will announce His power in my life throughout the universe.
  5. I receive international connection for greater glory in Jesus’ Name.
  6. My blessings shall know no limit in the year 2019, in the Name of Jesus.

CONCLUSION: Possessing a greater nation requires your acknowledgement of the greatness of God. He is bigger than any mountain, seen or unseen. No power can stand before Him without bowing to His majesty. Our firm  trust in Him and our undivided loyalty to His rule open doors for victory and divine expansion.
