During the visit, the youths were advised to abstain from all forms of immorality so as to fulfil God’s purpose in their lives.
The Valentine School Outreach which came into being last year was the initiative of the wife of the Diocesan, Dr. (Mrs) Lydia Olukemi Odedeji, and was meant to catch them young and nurture the young ones to be responsible people in the society.
Speaking on this year’s theme; “Create For More, Fulfilling Purpose”, the Rev. Emmanuel Okeke admonished the students to focus on their academics and always remember that they are not created by accident but for a purpose which they must strive to attain in life.
He urged the students to express love without engaging in immorality.
On her part, a Medical Practitioner, Dr Funmi Akinola appealed to the students to desist from acts that could jeopardize their future.
She explained further that Valentine Day should be a celebration of God’s kind of love, stressing that any celebration of love contrary to God’s will is not the essence of valentine’s day.
The event which had over one hundred students in attendance at one of the outreaches in Ikeja also witnessed the distribution of souvenirs such as big notes, Biro and poem card coined from the theme and refreshment to students.
