The women who were well dressed in all shades of pink attire came out in their numbers from across the thirty Archdeaconries praising God and appreciating Him for His faithfulness in the past twenty five years of the existence of the Diocese.

Speaking on the theme for the day, the president of the organization and wife of the bishop, Dr. Mrs Lydia Odedeji urged women to seek God’s face and be intentional about their day to day choices, to prevent the consequences of bad choices.

” I want you to know that as a woman, life will always present to you options to pick from, it is pertinent for us to know that our life is at the mercy of our choices and that our destinies are tied to our choices, (Jer. 29:11.) As women, we need to know that God has good plans and intentions for us but what will determine whether we get there or not are our choices. For you to make a good choice in line with destiny, you need to cooperate with God.”

According to Dr. Odedeji, the choices women make are capable of making or destroying their families, hence, the need, for informed and decisive choices, to save their children’s future.

” Every choice comes with consequences and when you are making a choice, the only power you have, is to make the choice, you don’t have the power to decide the consequences of your choices.”

She admonished women to ignore negative influences around them, while making decisions.

Dr. Odedeji also, urged women to prioritize their health and make God’s word their guide, while taking decisions, stressing that an indecision is a decision.
