TOPIC: GOD’S LIGHT IN OUR HEARTS

TEXT:2 CORINTHIANS 4:1-7

AIM:

  1. To teach that God illuminates the hearts of believers with His divine light through the knowledge of Christ.
  2. To teach that this light empowers believers to live as reflections of God’s glory in a dark world.

INTRODUCTION:

In 2 Corinthians 4:6, Paul highlights how God, who commanded light to shine out of darkness in creation (Genesis 1:3), now shines His divine light into the hearts of believers. This light brings the knowledge of God’s glory as revealed in Jesus Christ. It transforms and equips us to live as witnesses to His truth. As believers, we are called to let this light illuminate every part of our lives and shine through us to the world.
