TEXT: 1 Corinthians 13:1-13, 1 John 4:16-18
AIM:
i. To reach that the God kind of love
ii. To teach that any step out of love is a step into sin.
INTRODUCTION:
The kind of love that God that every child of God must possess is referred to
as “agape” love, this kind of love goes beyond romantic or affectionate love. It
is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ, and it is a selfless, unconditional,
and sacrificial love. Christian love is guided by the principles of the Bible and
reflects God’s love for humanity. This kind of love extends to all people,
regardless of their background, beliefs, or actions.
Christian love is not dependent on receiving love in return but is freely given
without expecting anything in return. It involves caring for the well-being of
others, seeking their best interests, and exhibiting the love that Christ
demonstrated through his life, teachings, and ultimately his death on the
cross.
